Well, today is the big game, The Super Bowl. I will be supporting The Saints as you know. Not a whole lot has been happening in my life. Work and school proceed as usual. Life outside of those things has been going on as usual as well, my fiancee is getting alot of stuff figured out for the wedding. We weren't sure if we wanted to stay in a hotel for one or two nights after the wedding. Two nights would be more money obviously, but one night would make us have to be home for an extra day before we leave for the honeymoon, which is a cruise by the way, very romantic. I think we have decided on one night, then starting our road trip down Florida a day early and making more stops on the way down. This will probably mean an extra night on the road but those motels don't cost nearly as much per night. Money has been the main constraint for our wedding, we don't want to finance any of it, in debt is no way to start a life together.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all congratulations abd I hope everything works out for the best. In one of my classes we were discussing some of the differences of marriage now and hundreds of years ago as well as in different countries. Something that I found interesting is that when people got married (usually young) they were required to live with the grooms family for a while. They did this so they could be taught how to manage money, communicate, etc. It has its pro and cons, but not a horrible idea.
